What is SAGE?
Hands-On Field Experience
SAGE is an award-winning geophysics education and research program for undergraduate students, graduate students, and working professionals. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA, participants meet and work with industry professionals, academics, and government research scientists while using modern geophysical methods to solve complex geologic problems.
Modern Exploration Techniques
SAGE participants acquire, process, and interpret geophysical data at different scales using the following methods:
- Reflection/refraction and passive seismic
- Magnetotellurics and time-domain electromagnetics
- Ground-penetrating radar
- Temperature logging and thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS)
- Gravity and magnetics
Adventure and Experience
Travel and explore beautiful northern New Mexico.
